"Born and raised in St. Albans, I have lived my whole life in Northern Vermont. I am a member of the Essex Art League, NVAA and the Bryan Memorial Gallery. I work in traditional oils, doing still life arrangements of dishes in a realistic manner. I chose dishes because I feel they make a statement about family connections and values. Recently, I have tried to add landscapes because this is such a beautiful state we live in."
Welcome to the Artist In Residence Co-op Blog Spot. We are a collective art gallery in Enosburg, Vermont that exhibits the work of over 40 local Vermont artists. Each month, a group of our members are selected as featured artists to showcase in the gallery foyer. This blog is an additional space to feature and discuss these artists and their work.

This message is for Martha Ohliger. 30-+ years ago I bought a tiny painting of yours at the Champlain Valley Fair. It shows a dark barn dimly reflected in the windowpane of a bright white-siding building with yellow flowers growing on green stalks beneath the sill. When my daughter grew up & left home, neither she nor I could stand to give it up. So we gift it to each other alternate Christmases, for a year at at a time. Thank you, for so much pleasure.
