REBECCA ANNE BENNET

"Seems this year I just can't stop painting animals! I have painted dogs, cats, mice, and rabbits! Martha, a cat I once had, has been in my thoughts lately. I continue to draw or paint her and two new renditions of her will be on display this month. The painting pictured here is one I did years ago of Martha. I had forgotten about this painting until I took a watercolor of flowers out of its frame and found this painting behind the matting!
"This reception will mark five years that I have been a member of Artist In Residence. Not one reception is the same and we often leave learning something new about the artist's medium or the artists themselves."
