CHARLOTTE ROSSHANDLER

Charlotte Rosshandler has worked as an artist/photographer for the past 30 years, exhibiting internationally and publishing. She is most happy when working together with others in publishing projects. She has been living full time in the woods of Vermont for over 10 years now and her photography is totally influenced by the intimacy she experiences in the nature around her. Her work is deeply personal as she sees nature as poetry and metaphor and her desire is to share those feelings with the viewer.

Charlotte Rosshandler has worked as an Artist/Photographer for the past 30 years, exhibiting internationally, as well as being invited to provide photography for various types of books, catalogues, newspapers, etc. She has been living full time in Vermont for 10 years. Her artwork is now totally influenced by the nature around her and has become a personal interpretation of the spirit which she senses in the landscape. She would like for her pictures to be able to relate these thoughts and express her feelings. This present exhibition at AIR is a reflection of the sensations of her past summer.

CHARLOTTE ROSSHANDLER

Charlotte Rosshandler has been an artist/photographer for over 30 years. Born in New Orleans in 1943, she began her photography career in Montreal over 30 years ago. She has been living in South Richford, VT for 25 years, permanently for the past 5 years. She has had many solo and group exhibitions, photographs published in catalogs, magazines, books, records/CD jackets, etc. Charlotte's work can be found in the National Photographic Archives in Ottawa, Canada.
Since 2000, she has turned to digital photography, working in her studio in the mountains of Northern Vermont. Her vision has moved from the inner life of portrait-making to an intense concern and devotion to our environment. Her personal committment is to draw attention to our individual responsibility for Earth matters.
